Are you looking to make a difference in the life of teen boy who is currently living a Detention Center?
BBBSU is excited about a new partnership with Youth Services and U of U STEM CAP. Mentors will meet on Wednesday evenings twice a month at the South Salt Lake Detention Center to work with a small group of teen boys (high school/early college) discussing the activity for that evening along with what comes next for them, as they pursue their education and next steps.
Volunteers should be comfortable working with youth who are currently in Detention. We are looking for male mentors ages 25+ to work with these youth in a site-based setting, both BBBSU and Detention Center staff will be present at all meetings.
Would you be interested in becoming a Mentor through this program?
