Community Based Program: Each volunteer - Big - is matched with one child - Little - between the ages of 7 - High School. Big & Little get to spend quality time with each other, sharing local culture, exploring new educational opportunities, or developing new skills and hobbies.  

Community Based Bigs… 

• Are at least 21 years old  
• Plan 2-4 outings per month with their Little (based on their own schedule) for a one year minimum commitment
• Pick up and drop off their Little from the child’s home and have access to consistent and reliable transportation (whether it’s your own vehicle, rideshare or public transit) 

Site Based Program: Each volunteer - Big - is matched with one child - Little - from a partner school or community organization between the ages of 8-17. Big & Little meet at a designated site with other matches. Each program is led by a BBBS staff member and includes time for relationship building, a structured group activity and free time to share stories and interests together. 

Site Based Bigs… 

• Are at least 18 years old  
• Attend scheduled sessions 2-4 times per month for 1-1.5 hours, for a one year minimum commitment
