Program Options

Community-Based Mentoring: 4-6 Hours per Month

Your child’s mentor will pick them up from home and spend time together out in the community, exploring hobbies, interests, and activities. This program is flexible, giving your child and their mentor room to build a meaningful relationship while trying new things together.

Site-Based Mentoring: 4-8 Hours per Month

Your child will be paired with a mentor at one of our partner locations during the school year. They meet every week at the same time and place for 2 hours. Staff are nearby the whole time to provide support. Parents or guardians are responsible for getting their child to and from the site. Most matches spend their time on games, crafts, homework help, or simply talking and getting to know each other.

Our site-based program requires a parent or guardian to bring their child to and from the site each week, so it may not be the right fit for your family right now. Our community-based program could be a better option: your child’s mentor picks them up from home and spends time with them out in the community, so there’s no weekly transportation on your end.
