Big Brothers Big Sisters pairs youth with
carefully-screened, caring, adult mentors who
meet with them 2-4 times a month to have fun,
and to provide support and connection. After completing this form, a staff member will reach out to you within 2 business days to set up an orientation and interview.
To participate in a BBBS mentoring program the youth and parent/guardian must: ∙ complete an interview and orientation
∙ talk with a BBBS staff person monthly
In the Community-Based Mentoring Program:
∙ youth must be 6-14 years old
∙ youth have fun doing no/low-cost activities like going to the park, baking cookies, attending a local
sporting event, or playing board games
∙ youth and guardian commit to being in the program for 1 year
In the Sports Buddies Mentoring Program:
∙ youth must be 9-14 years old
∙ youth participate in fun activities like watching college sporting events, playing kickball, playing
indoor games like board games and tag, making crafts, and outdoor activities like hiking, disc
golf, and visiting a local playground
∙ youth and guardian commit to being in the program for 6 months
∙ youth meet at planned activities 2 times a month
∙ a parent/guardian is responsible for transporting youth to and from events
