Community-Based mentors meet with their Little 3-4 times a month over the course of a year. Mentors partner with their Little and the Little’s parent/guardian to plan weekly outings, which typically take place out in the community, on evenings and weekends. Matches have access to partake in a variety of free and low-cost activities around the community through participating partners like the YMCA or Country Music Hall of Fame.

Site-Based matches meet for an hour each week, during the school year, at the Little’s school or after-school program. Meetings happen during a regularly scheduled time and only while school is in session. Matches enjoy activities such as playing board games, doing arts & crafts, helping with school work and catching up with one another.  Based mentors meet with their Little for an hour each week, during the school year. Matches meet during the school day or at an after school program. If that's not a good fit for you, please uncheck the box next to "Site Based Mentoring".

Virtual Site-Based: Diversity Focused program is aimed at serving diverse students attending Metro Nashville Public Schools, specifically LGBTQ youth. Mentoring will take place completely virtually through the MentorHub app, with virtual meetings taking place once a week. Meetings happen during the Little’s school day, and only while school is in session.

E-Mentoring is an online mentoring program that allows Bigs to work with their Littles on structured, virtual activities focused on relationships, identity, and educational and career success. Bigs will be matched with a high school junior and provide mentorship until the student graduates high school. In addition to weekly virtual interaction, matches will meet in-person 3-4 times per year. This program is only active during the school year with options to engage on our mentorhub app over the summer and breaks.

Sports Buddies matches meet in-person two Saturdays per month, at BBBSMT facilitated events, for a minimum of six months. Matches get opportunities to participate or observe a wide variety of activities focused on sports and wellness.

College Advancement Program (CAP) is a mentoring program that offers 1:1 and group mentoring to students in their first two-years of college. This program aims to prepare students, especially those who may be low income or first-generation college students, to persist and succeed in their academic journey. Through weekly virtual engagement, in-person meetings with a mentor, and group mentoring sessions, students will be able to learn, grow, and increase their social capital.
