BIGGER TOGETHER, A Community Celebration of Mentoring, is an event to celebrate the
impact of formal and informal mentors across our local community and raise awareness
about the need for additional one-to-one mentors for local youth facing challenges. Big Brothers Big Sisters of Harrisonburg-Rockingham County will host this year’s event on Tuesday, October 22nd from 12-1 pm in the ballroom of the Festival Student & Conference Center on James Madison University's campus in Harrisonburg, VA. Big Brothers Big Sisters is now accepting nominations for the awards below, to be given during the event.

Please use this form to nominate a mentoring program or individual for one or more of the five different award categories. Recipients, their nominator, and up to 6 guests will be invited to the event.

Mentoring Program Award - This award recognizes a mentoring program operating in Harrisonburg or Rockingham County, where mentoring is not the primary function of the organization or business leading implementation. Student Mentor Award - This award recognizes a student who is serving as a mentor in Harrisonburg or Rockingham County.Nonprofit Mentor Award - This award recognizes an individual serving as a mentor in the nonprofit sector. Corporate Mentor Award - This award recognizes an individual serving as a mentor in the corporate sector. Education Mentor Award - This award recognizes an individual serving as a mentor in education.
