Clothing Drive Plans

We suggest that you announce your clothing drive a few weeks before it takes place, to give participants plenty of time to start cleaning out their closets at home.

  • Typically, office clothing drives are announced 3-4 weeks before pick up and last for 3-5 business days where employees can drop off bagged items onsite at work. We suggest identifying a closet, meeting room or common area as the collection point for employee drop off.
  • Clothing drives for events, apartments or neighborhoods typically promote the opportunity for 3-4 weeks and choose one day with a 1–3-hour window where neighbors can drop bagged items off at the truck.
