Clothing Drive Information
We suggest that you announce your clothing drive at least 3-4 weeks before it launches, to give employees time to start cleaning out their closets at home. Typically, clothing drives last for 3-5 business days where employees can drop off bagged items onsite at work. We suggest identifying a closet, meeting room or common area as the collection point for employee drop off. As you plan for your drive, what timeframe are you looking for? Please list 2-3 potential drive dates you are considering below. We also ask that you specify the date you would like for our drivers to pick up your donations.
BBBSKC can supply email templates that you can use for communication to your staff. Is there anything else you will need in order to make your clothing drive successful?
We ask for a minimum collection of 15 large kitchen sized trash bags full of clothing/shoes in order to schedule a clothing drive pickup. Do you feel that you can achieve or exceed this goal?
