Welcome! Thanks for considering enrolling your child with Big Brothers Big Sisters. Please fill out the information below to join our interest list. Please note that this is not a first come first served list. We will contact families from our interest list if and when we have capacity to make new matches in their area based on mentor availability. We do not guarantee that families on our interest list will be contacted. We encourage families to inquire again in 6-12 months while they remain interested in a mentor for their child.

Please make sure that all of the following eligibility requirements are true for your child before beginning your inquiry.
  1. Youth must reside in the Portland metro area, including SW Washington
  2. Youth is between age 6 and 16 at time of enrollment
  3. Youth and family are able to fulfill a one-year commitment once matched
  4. Youth would like to participate voluntarily
Our participants come to us with a wide range of personal characteristics. Participant eligibility shall be determined without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, gender, marital status, sexual orientation, veteran status, or disability. Additionally, we work with each participant to foster a sense of pride in who they are.

Big Brothers Big Sisters uses text communication to connect with families about their participation in our program (we will not text you about marketing or fundraising opportunities). Before texting with Big Brothers Big Sisters you will be asked to provide consent for text communication, which you can accept or decline.
