Big Brothers Big Sisters East Central Wisconsin 2025 Scholarship Application

The BBBS East Central Wisconsin 2025 Scholarship is intended to help support graduating/graduated BBBSECW Littles/High School Bigs who are seeking further educational opportunities, such as 4 year university, technical college, an apprenticeship, dental school, cosmetology school, and other educational endeavors.

Eligibility: Students who have participated as a Little or High School Big in the Big Brothers Big Sisters East Central Wisconsin program and have graduated in the past 5 years (or who will be graduating in 2025). Students must have been matched for at least one year OR be able to clearly demonstrate how the match has impacted them (if matched for less than 1 year). Students may only apply for the BBBSECW scholarship up to two times, and will not be awarded more than two application cycles.

The BBBSECW Scholarship Application must be submitted by midnight on Wednesday, April 30th, 2025 to be eligible. Once submitted, BBBSECW will notify you to confirm that your application has been received. Once applications are reviewed in mid-late May 2025, you will be notified via email if you have or have not been selected as one of the scholarship recipients.

To avoid issues with saving your online application, we suggest writing your essay responses in a separate document, then transferring your responses into the Form Assembly Application when you are ready to submit it. Essay Questions

These questions are intended for individuals who are applying to the BBBSECW scholarship for the first time. Please answer the questions below in detail (in at least one paragraph for each question), while keeping in mind appropriate punctuation, grammar, and spelling.

Please submit a letter of recommendation from your Big. If you have not been matched in years/have lost contact with your Big, please submit a letter of recommendation from someone you consider a mentor to you. The letter of recommendation should include the signature of the individual writing the letter.
