Thanks to the generosity of past and current Big Brothers Daniel Weidner & Nathan Molitor, we are excited to offer two scholarships for current and former Littles in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota program who are graduating from high school or currently attending college.

Dan and Nate have both been involved in the BBBS program as Big Brothers. They believe Big Brothers Big Sisters is an important organization that defends the potential of youth. This scholarship was established to support students in Central Minnesota as Dan and Nate both believe education plays a key role in unleashing someone’s full potential.

Award

One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to a current or former Little graduating from high school. A second $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to one current or former Little currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution. The awards will be paid to the educational institution on behalf of each student. Funds may be used for tuition, fees, books, and other necessary expenses. Payment of scholarship will be awarded after submitting proof of completion of the first semester of college.

Eligibility

The applicant must be a current or former Little in the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central MN program for at least 18 months.
The applicant must be a senior in high school planning to attend college part-time or full-time or a college student currently enrolled at a trade, technical or community college, or a 4-year college/university.

Submit this online application by Sunday, March 24th at 11:59 pm
The award recipient will be notified by April 17th, 2004. The winner and their family will be invited to our Big Celebration on April 24th to receive the scholarship.
