Requesting the Space

Thank you for your interest in using the Big Brothers Big Sisters Office Building (3110 N Washington Ave Minneapolis, MN 55411). Please indicate whether you are an external individual or a BBBS Staff.

External Individual Usage Form

Reservation of our space is $60 per hour with 30 minutes scheduled before and after for setup and clean up. This fee is to cover the cost of BBBS staff being onsite during the event.

The space is available for usage between 7am-9pm.

Full details of the event must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the event including the completion of this form.

Events will be tentatively approved or denied two business days after submission. More information may be requested after this form is submitted.

We have a variety of rooms available:

Training Room

Holds 60 people with movable tables and chairs
Zoom capabilities for virtual attendees and presentations

Maker’s Space

Holds 70 people with movable tables and chairs
In an open space near the kitchen and main entrance
Does not have Zoom capability for virtual attendees and presentations

Large Conference Room

Holds 12 people with one long rectangular table with chairs
Zoom capabilities for virtual attendees and presentations

South Parking Lot

A large open parking lot that can be used for outdoor events
Outdoor electrical outlets for power

Reason for Using the Space

Waiver of Liability and Assumption of Risk Agreement

A signature will be required at the end of this form in regard to this policy.
Use of Premises: In consideration of the use of the premises (building and parking lot), any individuals and organizations involved, do hereby state not to sue Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities in the event of the occurrence of personal injury, accidents, or illnesses (including death) and property loss arising from use of premises.

Payment for Usage: All individuals and organizations understand and will complete payment for usage of this building and will have submitted payment within 30 days of the event. BBBSTC will send an invoice via email to the direct contact. In addition, the individuals and organizations using the building understand they will be held responsible to pay for any damages caused to the building and furniture during their time in the space.

Assumption of Risk: All individuals and organizations know and understand any risks inherent in the use of this building and hereby assert that any participation is voluntary and knowingly assume any risks.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless: All individuals and organizations agree to indemnify and hold harmless Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses, damages, and liabilities including attorney fees as a result of this use of premises.

Acknowledgement of Understanding: All individuals and organizations have read this waiver of liability, assumption of risk, and indemnity agreement, and fully understand its terms for the personal usage of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Twin Cities building. They acknowledge by signing the agreement freely and voluntarily, and intend with a signature to a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.

BBBS Staff Usage Form

For BBBS Staff, using the space is free. The space is available for usage from 7am-9pm. The requesting staff are required to be onsite during the entire duration of the reservation of the space.
