Requirements to be a Volunteer Mentor:

-Must be at least 18 years of age
-12-month commitment to spend time with your Little for one hour twice per month
-Must have reliable transportation, a clear driving record for one year and a valid driver's license and up-to-date car insurance
-Complete the enrollment/training process (Includes an orientation, application, interview with agency staff, child safety training, screening process with layered criminal check, fingerprinting, and reference checks)
-Complete agency survey evaluations annually and monthly Big/Little match support and coaching

Which Youth Mentoring Program are you interested in exploring as a potential volunteer mentor? (Choose one or all if unsure and we will help you decide)

Community Based Mentoring: Mentor and youth meet 1-1 within the community. You would be matched with a youth age 6-18.Lunch Buddy (Site/School Based Mentoring): Mentor and youth meet 1-1 at the youth's school. You would be matched with a youth in 1st-5th grade. You will ONLY meet at the youth's school. MentorU: Provide mentoring support for youth ages 12-18 in a group mentoring program or small-mentee/mentor group activity. Bigs with Badges: Badge-carrying mentors meet 1-1 with youth at their school. You would be matched with a youth in 1st-5th grade. Unsure of the mentoring program I am interested in
